Festival Info

Submissions for the Bend Comedy Festival are open from January 1st to May 15th, 2025. Submit early to take advantage of lower fees. All submissions will be reviewed, and responses from the review committee will be sent out via email by June 1st, 2025. If accepted, this email will include all the details you need to prepare for the festival.

Accepted comedians are guaranteed at least two performance spots during the festival, ranging from 5 to 20 minutes each. To keep shows fresh, performers must prepare distinct sets for each of the three nights, avoiding joke repetition due to audience overlap. Be prepared to showcase at least 10 minutes of material by Labor Day Weekend.

While comedians won’t be directly paid, we provide lodging assistance and exclusive discounts for local activities. Travel expenses, including airfare and meals, are the performer’s responsibility. Plan flights into RDM (Redmond Airport), just 20 minutes from Bend. Comics should arrive by Friday afternoon and stay through Sunday night to receive lodging assistance and stage time.
